The service

Boat Service Desk provides a managed customer-communication service for marine repair businesses: drafting and sending customer updates from information the shop provides, tracking estimate approvals, organizing customer replies, and reporting. We do not perform repairs, diagnose vessels, guarantee repair dates, or make mechanical or safety decisions.

The shop's responsibilities

The shop is responsible for the accuracy of job, parts, price, and estimate information it provides; for approving messages that require approval; and for all repair decisions and commitments. The shop controls its prices, estimates, approvals, and promised dates.

Approvals

Work approvals recorded through the service identify the estimate version, scope, and amount, and who approved and when. A material change requires renewed approval. A casual message reply is not authorization for additional work.

Plans, limits & billing

Each plan has defined active-job limits, message allowances, and support hours as shown on the Pricing page. Overage is charged only with the customer's prior written agreement — never automatically. Setup fees are one-time. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

Repair payments

Repair invoices belong to the shop. We do not collect repair payments into our accounts.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the amounts paid for the service in the three months before a claim. We are not liable for repair outcomes, repair timing, or decisions made by the shop or its customers.
